The Adjunct Faculty Association Executive Council (AFAEC) voted on August 27th to conduct a special election in September to fill two Campus Representative vacancies and the Parliamentarian position for the AFAEC 2021-2022 AY.
The responsibilities of the Campus Representative and Parliamentarian positions are provided in the AFA bylaws. The compensation for serving as a campus representative for next year is $2482/year. The compensation for the Parliamentarian is $7446/year. An adjunct does not have to teach at the campus to run for the representative position of that campus.
If you wish to be a candidate for any of these positions in the special election, you must submit a statement of intent by 20th September. The election will be held Friday 01 October to 11: 59 PM Thursday 07 October. Please submit your intent to run for office here.
