Web/Video Conferencing Tool Summit

As reported to you last October, the Administration is considering streamlining the college’s use of the video teleconferencing (VTC) tools. The recommendations are 1) use Zoom by the college as a collaboration tool;  2) use Blackboard Collaborate by faculty as a distance learning tool; and 3) use Zoom for distance learning on an exception basis.
To allow faculty the opportunity to weigh in on this matter, the Faculty Senate has organized a Zoom meeting from 1 to 3 pm on February 5. It is very important that you attend the meeting to voice your opinion or to ask questions, especially if you are lecturing using a tool other than Blackboard Collaborate.
