Web Design 1
Online Course Requirements
Software Requirements
HTML and CSS do not need fancy software to use. A simple plain text application will do till the end of the semester. You may then need to purchase “Sublime Text” (https://www.sublimetext.com/).
Austin Community College has many Online Resources such as Blackboard, which is where you will find your course materials and as well as post your work for grading.
We will also use such ACC Google Apps as Drive, Calendar, and other tools.
You might also gather a Sketchbook/Notebook for your weekly visual journal.
Online
Online classes require a large degree of independence and self-motivation. At ACC the Distance Learning Department has created a website to help you find all the support you need. You can gather much helpful information before the class starts here.
Journals and discussion boards allow you to connect with your fellow students for support.
