Some parts of home construction, such as adding the roof, must be done a distance above ground. To ensure their safety, all students and instructors who are working above ground must wear a harness that is connected to a cable attached to a steel frame above the construction area.
If a person wearing the harness falls, the harness and cable will catch him or her before they fall too far.
