On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, ACC unveiled its new emergency response training facility during the grand opening celebration of Hays Campus Phase 2. The new Public Safety Training Center features advanced training facilities for first responders including a force-on-force room, a firing range, and an emergency vehicle operator course (EVOC) along with specialty classrooms.
The expansion at Hays Campus provides advanced facilities for ACC students in first responders programs as well as law enforcement agencies in the region.
The Public Safety Training Center at Hays Campus was the college’s third grand opening celebration of projects funded by the 2014 GO bonds.

What are the four primary areas of training? What does the facility offer to ACC students?

Do you rent time on the firing range to persons who are not ACC students or law enforcement officers? I presume if that is the case, the hours would be very early and/or late evening. (“off” hours)
