How does it work?

You sign up for a Level 1 college certificate using financial aid or self-financing, and we support you until graduation! We provide academic and advising support, an amazing graduation gift, and textbooks to borrow!

What is a Level 1 college certificate?

A Level 1 certificate is a 1-2 year college credit program that prepares you for a career.

 

Who can join this program?

+ Students in an in-demand Level 1 Certificate program who can benefit from weekly academic support classes.

Accounting Clerk, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Office Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, IT User and Computer Support, Computer- Aided Drafting, Autobody Refinishing, Autobody Collision Repair, Basic Automotive, Structural Welding, Ultrahigh Purity Piping, HVAC, Pharmacy Technician, Childcare and more!

 

What if I have a criminal conviction?

Please be advised that your prior conviction could keep you from being licensed by the State of Texas in certain careers.  If you have a question about your background and licensure, please make an appointment with Mechelle Marler mmarler@austincc.edu to determine your career options. You also have the right to request a criminal history evaluation letter from the applicable licensing agency.

No.  We only accept serious, dedicated applicants who focus 100% on their future.  Our students attend our support classes, arrive on time, do homework, and commit to our program.
