The Fast Track to Success Project invites you to the second annual conference on innovation in higher education. This conference will provide a forum for sharing lessons-learned, strategies, outlooks, data, and elements of CBE pedagogy and other innovative models at all levels of instruction and learning in higher education. The theme of the conference is Leveraging Innovation in Higher Ed!
Conference: April 19-20
Pre-conference workshop: A free pre-conference workshop will be held on April 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for those new to competency-based education (CBE). The purpose of this workshop will be to discuss the basics of CBE and how to get started in CBE.
Opening Keynote: Dr. Irene Cravey, Associate Vice Chancellor, Texas State Technical College
Lunch Keynote: Dr. Charla Long, Executive Director, Competency-Based Education Network (C-BEN)
Friday Keynote: Dr. Rex Peebles, Academic Quality and Workforce Assistant Commissioner Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)
