The Austin Community College’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (ACC CPPPS) is a non-profit housed under the Department of Community and Public Affairs. As the first public policy center of its kind in the nation at a community college, CPPPS takes its fiduciary and programming responsibilities very seriously. Therefore, whereas our operational expenses (salary, computer equipment, phones, etc.) are paid for by the ACC District, the funds generously provided by the community are restricted to pay for our student programming. Funds for programming – often described by our supporters as educational, interactive, entertaining, and innovative – are spent efficiently in line with our mission and vision, and with the intention of reaching as many ACC students as possible. Information about our student events can be found here.
