Student Privacy

We understand that you want the best for your child and Dual Credit is an important step. While you may want to help your son or daughter with the process, due to FERPA (the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), colleges cannot release a student’s academic information to anyone, even parents, without the student’s written consent. FERPA calls for the protection of student records once they turn 18 or attend a school beyond the high school level – Dual Credit students fall under this classification
