2016 Call for Proposals
“Striving for the Best”

The American Association of Adjunct Education (AAAE) will be hosting it annual conference in February 2016 and is currently accepting proposals for breakout sessions. The conference will be held in conjunction with the Texas Community College Teachers Association’s (TCCTA) annual convention. Proposals that relate to teaching and learning will be reviewed. Abstracts should not ex-ceed (2) pages double spaced. A submission form is available on the AAAE website.
Breakout Sessions — Lasting approximately sixty minutes including a question and answer period, the breakout sessions will provide a grand opportunity for presenters and participants to interact.
Discounted hotel rooms are available at The Westin Galleria and Westin Oaks.
Adjunct of the Year Award
AAAE is accepting nominations for the 2016 Adjunct of the Year award for outstanding service to the college, university and / or community. Outstanding service may include but is not limited to teaching, mentoring, publishing, service projects, programs, etc. Nominations may be made by the individual’s dean, department head or a colleague. The nomination form is available on the AAAE website. The recipient will receive the award at the TCCTA banquet on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
The deadline to submit a proposal and / or a nomination for adjunct of the year is:
Monday, November 5, 2015.
All presenters and nominees are required to register for the conference.
