This year’s General Assembly will be held at the Palmer Events Center. The event will begin at 8:00 am with breakfast provided, and the program begins at 9:00 am. Lunch is provided to attendees of the afternoon strategy sessions.

Wheelchair accessible and gender neutral bathrooms are available at the venue.


All employees are invited to attend General Assembly. We are expecting a high attendance and have several options to help accommodate your travel. ACC is committed to waste reduction and sustainable practices. Utilize ACC’s Sustainable Transportation options to save or make money, reduce your carbon footprint, and be entered into a raffle to win prizes! (Green options denoted by leaves .)

Shuttles from Highland Campus


Our free shuttle buses are the best transportation option for attending General Assembly.

  1. Park at the Highland Campus (free!)
  2. Board our complimentary shuttles in the HLC North parking lot (see map)
  3. Receive a raffle ticket upon arrival at the event venue to win prizes!

Shuttles are available prior to the morning program, at midday, and after the conclusion of the afternoon program. Review the full shuttle schedule online to plan your trip.

One ADA compatible bus will be available and it will be the first to leave from Highland Campus in the morning and from the Palmer Events Center in the afternoon. Please look for the sign in the bus labeled “ADA.”

Green Pass

Sign up for a Green Pass to access Cap Metro services for free this semester.  Use Public Transportation to get to the event (Trip Planner) and bring your Green Pass by the Energy and Sustainability Office table at the event to receive a raffle ticket for our giveaway raffle!

Waze Carpool - make money!

Download the Waze Carpool app (iOS, Android) and link your ACC email to carpool with your coworkers to General Assembly for free. Driver’s will make up to $0.54/mile and riders can ride free until October 31, 2018. If you use Waze Carpool to get to the event, the driver and the rider both can receive raffle tickets.  Visit the Energy and Sustainability Office table at the event to get your raffle ticket.

The Palmer Events Center parking garage has limited parking spaces for this event. While ACC covers the cost of parking ($8/car), we highly recommend you choose another transportation option in an effort to be green and save the college money.
