After obtaining my G.E.D. from ACC in 2010, and then my Massage Therapy License in 2012, I stopped continuing my education and started working full-time. After a few years, however, I realized that I wanted to help the community I was living in and needed a higher education to do so. I started back at ACC, only this time working on an associate degree in Biology. I plan on transferring to a four-year college to study biology and government. It is my dream to help create a sustainable food future for all classes, especially those in underprivileged areas. Combining biology with the government degree, I hope to have all the tools to create sustainable systems for growing and harvesting food while rallying government involvement and support.
