  • co-enrolled in an ACC Health Science program or another institution’s program,
  • co-enrolled in public schools to obtain dual credit,

ALHS courses provide opportunities for equal access and support to students by offering courses in the traditional classroom setting, hybrid format, and through national Quality Matters (QM)-certified distance education.

In keeping with ACC’s values, all ALHS courses and formats address important student learning elements including equity, inclusion, and diversity. Our courses are designed to promote student persistence and retention, student satisfaction, student engagement, and student success. The ALHS Department is composed of stellar faculty, who participate in ongoing professional development, and are highly committed to the academic success of their students through the utilization of educational best practices and maintaining a sustainable, safe, and healthy environment for their students. To that end, our students obtain knowledge and skills they can use to positively impact their personal environment, their community, and ultimately, the world.
