UPDATE: The onsite PTA Program information session for June 19, 2020 is still being held. However, the format will change to a webinar with the Department Chair. Use this link to enter the meeting on the scheduled day and time. Continue to sign up as normal with the “Onsite Information Session” link below. This will serve as your RSVP that you are attending.

It is recommended that applicants attend an onsite Information Session. Face-to-face sessions are offered at Eastview Campus in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. To register for an onsite Information Session, please sign up below.

Whether you attend an onsite or online session, completion of the online Verification Post Test is required. You must then print and sign the Information Session completion confirmation email and upload it to your CastleBranch account before submitting your program application. See the Application Process page for complete instructions.

  • PTA Program Application Status

    The PTA Program application period for 2020 has closed. Applications are being processed and acceptance letters will go out in early June. You can submit an application for 2021 starting September 1, 2020 through the deadline date of May 10, 2021. Any revisions or updates to the process will be posted on the PTA website.

  • Anatomy and Physiology I Assessment Testing Suspended for Summer and Fall 2020 Registration Only

    Due to COVID-19, and in response to ACC campuses limiting access to essential personnel only, the A&P I Assessment Test has been suspended for the remainder of this testing period and the Fall testing period. Students will not need permission to register for BIOL 2401 for Summer '20 and Fall '20 registration periods ONLY.

  • PTA Program Statement on “Pass” and “No Pass”

    If a "P" grade is chosen for a Spring 2020 prerequisite course, the “P” grade will not be calculated in determining the GPA for ranking purposes and could impact your total ranking. For questions regarding choosing a "P" versus a performance grade (A, B, C) please contact Administrative Assistant Stephanie Thayer at stephanie.thayer@austincc.edu.
