Welcome to the Sonography Program

Sonographers use high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of organs, tissues, or blood flow inside the body for diagnostic purposes. Graduates find work in hospitals, physician offices, or outpatient clinics. Several areas of specialization, including Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, and Vascular Technology, are all available at ACC. Sonography Updates

  • Sonography Program to resume accepting volunteer “patients” in Fall 2020

    The Sonography Programs will resume accepting volunteers beginning in mid to late September 2020. The schedule at each campus is dependent on the sonography student lab session type. For more information, please visit the Sonography Lab Volunteer page.
