Due to COVID-19, the Veterinary Technology Program is waiving the 80 hours of career/shadowing work experience for the 2021 application cycle. Please contact Administrative Assistant Nancy DeLeon at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Due to the limited opportunities for volunteer/observation hours, the PTA Program is waiving this requirement for the 2021 application cycle. You will not need a Work Skills Assessment Form from a clinician, only from PTHA 1409 faculty. You are still required to submit the Volunteer Hour Form. In the space provided, enter the following code before uploading to the PTA CAS. Your application is incomplete without this form and this code: 0s21hfVp.
Please review the new application process for the PTA Program. The program has transitioned to the PTA Central Application System (CAS). A link to the program’s homepage on the PTA CAS is posted in the “How to Apply” section of the Application Process page.
The application period for Fall 2021 will begin in September 2020. Please check the Application Process page for updates that may affect your application.
The Sonography Programs will resume accepting volunteers beginning in mid to late September 2020. The schedule at each campus is dependent on the sonography student lab session type. For more information, please visit the Sonography Lab Volunteer page.
If a “P” grade is chosen for a Spring 2020 prerequisite course, the “P” grade will not be calculated in determining the GPA for ranking purposes and could impact your total ranking. This applies to Radiology, MRI, Computed Tomography, and Cardiovascular Interventional Technology applicants. For questions regarding choosing a “P” versus a performance grade (A, B, C) please contact Department Chair Jennifer Rigsby at email@example.com.
