Omar

I am an honors student, Orientation Leader, sailor veteran and a Risk Reduction Specialist (with Austin Travis County Integral Care). I am due to graduate in May of 2012 and my greatest memory is growing through the First Year Experience and encountering all the new fellow students arriving to orientate them to resources to be successful at ACC! With a good work ethic, I was selected in spring 2010 to attend the Equity and Leadership Conference at the University of Northern Texas! Like my friends say, I have been conditioned to be involved in the community and help create an ambiance where we can live in prosperity. I do it because I love learning from my peers and growing to become the leader most of them seek through listening and hopefully becoming a United States Ambassador. The best thing about ACC is Student Life!
