We are happy to announce that we recently were awarded a grant through NSF’s SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Program. We partnered with local biotech company, Macromoltek, to pursue a SBIR supplement grant, and were awarded the full supplement amount. This project stands out for a couple reasons:
- The money funds Macromoltek scientist a lab bench at the incubator for 6 months
- It also funds two ACC student interns to work on the project with scientist
We hope to pursue this funding source with eligible companies in the future as its a unique way to partner with industry.
