The International Business Internship Program

The International Business Internship program provides students with an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in their coursework in a business environment while earning three hours of academic credit.  The program allows students to explore and experiment while gaining valuable hands-on experience and exposure.  In addition, participants develop professional skills essential for transitioning into the work place.

Companies or organizations receive highly motivated students who will serve as trainees in a non-employment relationship.  Student interns are bright, responsible, and eager to work.  They can bring enthusiasm and new ideas to the workplace, assist in daily operations, and/or the implementation of a special program or project.  In addition, supervising an intern allows a company to observe a potential employee.

If you are interested in hiring an intern, please visit the CEL (Center for Experimental Learning) website  to create a business account and start viewing prospective student profiles.
