Description

DCS is seeking an experienced Administrative Project Coordinator who is self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and communicates with a positive and helpful attitude. This individual must be able to multi-task and have excellent typing skills with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. The qualified candidate will assist our engineers’ daily by managing multiple projects, managing schedules and timelines, taking meeting minutes and drafting correspondence.

Position Summary
The primary responsibilities for the role will include:
• Provide project and office support in coordination with client(s) and our team of engineers
• Work independently to effectively manage complex project and executive-level tasks, documents and records
• Compose and develop correspondence, meeting minutes, reports and spreadsheets
• Manage, log, track and issue project documents and files, accurately on a daily basis • Support Staff with similar additional duties, as needed Required
• Format and revise letters, memorandums, reports
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets for analysis
• Schedule appointments and meetings on behalf of our engineers and clients
• Take meeting minutes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience

The appropriately qualified candidate will have the following core competencies and required experience:
• Minimum of three years of administrative office and/or project coordinator work experience in a professional environment
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills with commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
• must be professional, punctual, reliable, self-motivated, exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented, with the flexibility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Requires a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a quick learner with a positive attitude
• Have the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work amidst competing demands
• Ability to work independently at times with little supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry is a plus
• Experience as a paralegal a plus
• Bachelor degree a plus
