About Technical Issues

Please remember that I should not be your first contact in the event that you have a technical issue. I teach 5-7 classes per term, so I have to rely on others to help with technical issues.

I’m having trouble submitting an assignment. What should I do?

I recommend going to a student computer lab on any ACC campus for in-person assistance.

I can’t log in to Blackboard (or my ACCmail). What should I do?

If you can’t log in when you previously have been able to, I recommend going to a student computer lab on any ACC campus for in-person assistance or contacting the ACC help desk. When Blackboard is unavailable to everyone, that information is generally reported on the ACC home page.

I submitted my assignment on Blackboard but when I look in the grade center, it’s blank! Help!

The only assignments affected by this issue are those that I provide a PDF file for students to fill out. I recommend downloading the file that you submitted to see if the actual file is blank. Often, it’s simply an issue with the preview screen in Blackboard. I download all files for grading to ensure they are complete.
