DECA International Career Development Conference 2017

ACC students did a great job participating in the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference held April 19-22, 2017 in Anaheim, California.

Joshua Koshy and West Budreau earned a certificate of excellence in their respective events (West took 1st place in the Entrepreneurship--Growing a Business in 2016). Joshua went on to place in the Top 10 in the world in his event, Sales Manager Meeting.

In addition, Joshua was elected to the office of Executive Vice President and will spend the next year serving the 16,000 members of Collegiate DECA located all around the world.  This is an outstanding honor and the first time a student from ACC has achieved this role.

Executive Vice President – Joshua Koshy
Joshua Koshy’s DECA journey began during his sophomore year of high school, and continued into college, where he was able to find his passion for developing student leaders. Josh’s heart for the organization has allowed him the opportunity to serve in various roles in the chapter and association levels, including Texas Collegiate DECA Association President. Furthermore, Joshua’s involvement in media and the startup world has challenged him to bring fresh ideas to Collegiate DECA. Josh actively listens to students in both high school and college in order to further enhance the DECA experience, and hopes to engage students to pursue their career goals. After college, Josh strives to work in the creative and startup field, while developing future business leaders to reach their full potential.
