Career Services is hosting a district-wide job & internship fair April 21-23. We need your help in getting the word out to our students. Area employers are very interested in hiring our students and that says a lot about our reputation! Please take a moment to review the list of registered employers and program areas to help us connect your students with these employers.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our graduates as well as our current students. We know students are more likely to stay in college if they have a steady job and a clear path toward a career,” says Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC president and CEO.
We hope you get some time to stop by and meet the employers at your campus as well. It's a great opportunity to discuss what employers are looking for in our students.

Students who compete in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) will soon be the professionals you hire – or are hired by.
Please join Austin Ad Fed for an inspiring demonstration by the students from Texas State University on Tuesday, April 21 at North Door in Austin.
These NSAC competitors will be making the pitch in front moderator Darren Drewitz (Marketing Director at Mind Ecology) and panelists including: Jennifer Blank (HR at McGarrah Jessee) Kim Carpenter (EVP at HCB Health) Sabrina Jumper (Media at GSD&M, former NSAC) John Livingston (Creative at T3, former NSAC) Ray Longoria (Creative Director at GSD&M, former NSAC)
They will pitch the presentation they developed as part of this year’s NSAC – and you will see why the Texas State team is so strong each year. After many hours and sleepless nights working on the campaign, preparing for the competition presentation and going head to head with their competitors (does that sound familiar?) they are ready to apply their NSAC experience in the real world.
Your support of these eager advertising and marketing candidates makes a difference for them, for NSAC and for you. Please join us. You may be meeting your next hires.
