WHAT: The Austin Community College Military Family Support Group and the Military Veteran Students Club will host Military Family Appreciation Day by honoring ACC veteran students and staff, and family members of ACC employees currently serving in Iraq and other places around the world.

U.S. Navy Captain Donald S. Inbody is the guest speaker.

WHEN: November 11, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Student Lounge, Building 2000, Eastview Campus, 3401 Webberville Rd.

Background: The ACC Military Veteran Students Club is dedicated to supporting students and staff members who are active duty military members, veterans, spouses, and supporters of the military. Currently ACC has more than 1,100 veteran students and dozens of active military students.

The ACC Military Family Support Group was formed in spring of 2005 to act as a support network for relatives or spouses of active military members currently serving in other areas of the world.
