AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS, FAMILIES INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT AVAILABLE COLLEGE RESOURCES

WHAT: The Black Student Success Committee (BSSC) at the Austin Community College District is hosting the second annual academic networking reception for students and their families.

WHEN: Friday, September 22, from 5 to 7 p.m.

WHERE: Room 201, ACC Highland Business Center, 5930 Middle Fiskville Rd.

WHY: As part of the ACC District’s ongoing effort to narrow the education gap that exists between underrepresented students and higher education, the BSSC is providing an opportunity for African American students to network with the college president, board members, faculty and staff and to learn more about available resources that can assist with their academic success. Information will be provided on the following student services:
