Former Austin Community College student Patrick Griffin won first place in Java programming during the Oct. 19-21 Region 3 conference of the Association of Information Technology Professionals. Griffin credited his Java instructor, Computer Information Systems Professor Richard Baldwin. “My experience in (Baldwin’s) class put me light years ahead of the competition as far as knowledge and experience with programming in Java go,” Griffin wrote.
