In conjunction with Dia de la Familia, ACC will hold a Deaf Open House on Saturday, April 28, at Riverside Campus.
Deaf activities begin around 11 a.m. with a tour of the Tech Deaf Classroom in Building A. Meet instructors and students and gather information about deaf classes.
At 2 p.m., the ACC Deaf Studies Association will present the “Deaf Monologues II” play in the auditorium, Building G, Room 8100. Admission is free for ACC students with ID and children up to age 12; all others pay $3.
Immediately following the play there will be a panel discussion by the deaf students. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear about students’ college experiences.
Interpreters will be provided throughout the day.
