WHAT: Official presentation of Round Rock petition – ACCtion4Education, a group of Round Rock citizens pursuing annexation of the entire Round Rock Independent School District into the Austin Community College District will hand over a petition to college administration with approximately 8,000 signatures of local residents who support an annexation election.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 30 at 11 a.m.

WHERE: Conference room at the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, 212 E Main Ave., Round Rock, TX

WHY: ACCtion4Education is eager to expand affordable education and training opportunities to the remaining two-thirds of RRISD not currently located within the ACC District boundaries. The committee has collected signatures of more than 5 percent of voters in the area who want to see this issue on the ballot next May.
