Bi-weekly Paychecks
Bi-weekly employees will be receiving a 3rd paycheck for the month of December on December 18, 2009. There will be no optional deductions taken from the December 18th paycheck since the prior two checks have already had those optional deductions withheld.
These optional deductions will automatically restart in January 2010. If you have any questions regarding your optional deductions, please feel free to call HR Benefits at 223-7617 or 223-7230 for further information.
Diabetes ongoing Support Group for ACC Staff and Faculty
This is a group for anyone who has diabetes or is interested in learning more about diabetes. Group Leader is Sandra Gaskin (Sandy) RN, MSN. Sandy has spent most of her nursing career teaching about diabetes and helping others manage their diabetes. December’s support group will meet on December 18th in room 301.2. Sessions will include, What is Diabetes? What is all the fuss about food and diabetes? How do I get up and get moving? What does my medication really do?

HR Beyond ACC’s Walls
Congratulations to HR Team members (Whitney Feil, Kimberly Martinez, Norma Ruiz, and Dana Tucker) who volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House on December 7th. A meal was prepared and assembled for families that are staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
