Stand Up and Be Counted with ACC Census Events, March 29 – April 1

It’s census time, and ACC wants to make sure you get counted. From March 29 through April 1, the college is hosting census events at the Riverside, Rio Grande, Northridge, and Cypress Creek campuses. Students, employees, and the public can talk with their local census representative and fill out the census form. Responses determine how more than $400 billion in federal funds will be allocated to communities across the country.

“4 Days for the Census,” sponsored by ACC’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS), will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates:

Monday, March 29 – Riverside Campus, 1020 Grove Blvd. in southeast Austin

Tuesday, March 30 – Rio Grande Campus, 1212 Rio Grande St. in downtown Austin

Wednesday, March 31 – Northridge Campus, 11928 Stonehollow Dr. in north Austin

Thursday, April 1 – Cypress Creek Campus, 1555 Cypress Creek Rd. in Cedar Park

Please contact CPPPS Associate Director Carla Jackson ([email protected] or 223-7049) with any questions.

The U.S. Constitution requires the census to take place every ten years. For more information, visit the CPPPS website.
