ACC students interested in science and technology are invited to apply for a new scholarship that covers tuition and fees, textbooks, and even childcare.

The National Sciences Foundation recently granted ACC funds for those scholarships, which the college will award to academically talented students with financial need. Students must attend full-time, working on one of the following degrees or certificates:

• Associate of Applied Science in Biotechnology
• Advanced Technical Certificate in Biotechnology
• Associate of Applied Science in Environmental Science and Technology
• Associate of Science in Environmental Science and Technology
• Advanced Technical Certificate in Environmental Science and Technology

The NSF scholarship, known as S-STEM (Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), will pay tuition and fees for all classes that apply toward the degree or certificate, up to $500 for books each semester, and childcare expenses, if necessary.
