Students interested in enrolling at Austin Community College’s newest campus in Round Rock will find more than 50 noncredit classes offered there this fall.
ACC’s Continuing Education Division (CE), which oversees noncredit courses and programs, offers classes intended for people interested in professional development, improvement of job skills, or personal enrichment.
CE will have a noncredit registration office and classrooms at the Round Rock Campus when it opens Monday, August 23.
“CE staff will be there to assist students and residents with their lifelong learning needs and interests,” says Hector Aguilar, CE executive director.
The current batch of Round Rock noncredit classes emphasizes work skills and professional development, Aguilar says. Recreational and personal enrichment courses will be added in the future.
“We want to work with the community and campus leaders to learn what specific noncredit programs they prefer,” he says.
CE fall registration is under way, and individuals can view the Round Rock noncredit schedule online. Until the campus opens August 23, registration will be either online, by phone, or in person at the Highland Business Center, 5930 Middle Fiskville Road.
Visit the Continuing Education website for more information or to view the entire fall schedule.
