The Austin Community College District had the fourth-highest CPA exam success rate among major Texas colleges and universities for the most recent reporting period, April through June 2010. ACC was also the top-ranked community college.

The ranking is based on schools with at least 5 students who attempt the exam. ACC students passed 65 percent of sections tested. Here are the complete rankings:

  1. The University of Texas-Austin (80.1 percent of sections passed)
  2. Texas A&M University (74.5 percent of sections passed)
  3. Southern Methodist University (68.52 percent of sections passed)
  4. Austin Community College (65.22 percent of sections passed)
  5. Trinity University (64 percent of sections passed)
