Registration is now open for the college-wide communications workshop designed to improve communications as part of the Student Success Initiative.
Faculty and staff can attend the daylong workshop, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 4, at the Holiday Inn Midtown across from Highland Business Center. Participants must obtain approval from their supervisor. Registration is required.
Participants will review and analyze how ACC communicates information and will work together to conceptualize how the college can better engage with first-time college students as part of the First Year Experience, an SSI program. An outside facilitator will guide the discussion.
Register under Professional Development workshops. Click on the workshop titled “First Year Experience Communications Workshop – It Takes a College.” Seating is limited to 120 participants.

Hello,
I just registered for this workshop and am looking forward to it. One aspect this article mentions is supervisor approval…How/when is this due and by what means? Do I need to complete another step in this process or provide you with further information?
Thank you.

Thanks, Arthur. We’re glad you can make it! There are no additional steps. We just encourage obtaining prior approval from your supervisor since this workshop is during a workday. See you Friday, March 4.
