Update: Online PEP Form
The PEP form procedure will be available online this year for Supervisors and Employees on Monday, May 16th.

A link to the log-in page will be available on the Evaluation website at http://www.austincc.edu/hr/eval/.  There are a few enhancements this year with the online PEP form.  You will be able to see your 2010 PEP Reviews and you will be able to include your Goals and Objectives for the upcoming year.  For more information on the online PEP process view a short video here.

As in the past, the online process will entail close communication and coordination between employees and supervisors.

Benefits

Verify your address in ERS.
Prior to annual enrollment each year, Employees Retirement System mails personal enrollment statements to all members.  To ensure you get yours, please verify your address in ERS OnLine.  Updating your address with ACC through Employee Online Services does not update your address with ERS.  ERS must be updated separately.

Log in to ERS OnLine from the ERS homepage (www.ers.state.tx.us) by clicking the “Sign In” button in the upper left corner.  You may need to register your account in ERS OnLine if you’ve not logged in in more than a year.  Registration is easy and can be done by following the instructions when clicking on the “Need to Register?” link under the log in fields.

Once logged in, click My Personal Information to verify your address and make any necessary changes.  Failure to have an accurate address on file with ERS could delay or prevent you from receiving important insurance information.

If you have trouble logging in, please contact ERS at 867-7711 for assistance.

ERS Dependent Audit
ERS works hard to make sure that only individuals who are eligible for benefits receive them. As part of this ongoing effort, ERS will conduct a 100% dependent verification audit through August 2011. ERS is working with an independent company, Aon Hewitt, to conduct the audit. The audit will require each employee and retiree who covers a dependent in the Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) to provide copies of documents to prove the dependent is eligible. Aon Hewitt will conduct the audit in three phases. Higher education employees will be audited in the first phase, which began last month.  The deadline to submit documentation verifying dependent eligibility is fast approaching!

If you cover a dependent in the insurance program, you should have received a letter from Aon Hewitt asking you to provide the appropriate documents. If you have an email address on file with ERS, you should also have received a reminder email. The email will come from [email protected]. Please do not email or respond to the reminder emails from [email protected]. Please don’t forget to send copies of your documents when you receive the letter from Aon Hewitt. Do not send originals; they will not be returned. If you have questions about the audit, please call the phone number provided in the letter. Benefit is unable to assist you because we don’t have access to their records. If you don’t send the necessary documents for the audit, your dependents will be dropped from coverage. To prepare for the audit, ERS reminded employees and retirees to drop ineligible dependents during last summer’s Annual Enrollment. For additional information, please visit www.ers.state.tx.us or call ERS at 512.867.7711.
