ACC Car Show Set for June 4 at Riverside Campus

ACC is revving up for the second annual Austin Community Car Show, Saturday, June 4 at Riverside Campus (1020 Grove Blvd). The event runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and gives you a chance to check out cool rides while helping raise money for scholarships.

Admission is $5 for adults; children under 12 are free. The cost to enter a car in the competition is $30. Categories include hot rod, lowrider, truck or bike, import, and American car (register now). The car show will feature live music by Trampia and DJ Lil Mondo.

Event proceeds go toward ACC scholarships for automotive students and Del Valle High School seniors.

“This is about giving back and making college more accessible,” says Dr. Mariano Díaz-Miranda, director of the Latino/Latin American Studies Center. “We are helping close educational gaps, which benefits not only the students but also the entire community.”

ACC’s Latino/Latin American Studies Center and Automotive Technology Program are hosting the event. For more information, contact [email protected] or 223.6361.
