The Austin Community College District online registration system has seen enormous growth in recent years, becoming the primary means for students to register and pay for classes. As a result, IT is turning down telephone registration effective September 22, 2011, as the college fully converts to online registration. The change will benefit students in a variety of ways.

• Online registration is more secure and requires less personal information.
• Online registration encourages online tuition payment, which is also more secure.
• Online registration is faster and more accurate than other registration methods.
• Online registration allows students to use ACC’s new waitlist feature, giving them better opportunities for seats in popular classes.
