Bastrop Fire Cleanup, Oct. 8

On Labor Day weekend our neighbors in Bastrop suffered the most destructive wildfire outbreak in Texas history. The community is now working to clear the debris and begin the long, hard task of rebuilding. Bastrop needs our help.

Please join the ACC community on Saturday, October 8 as we volunteer to provide hands-on assistance to thousands of residents in need. Help distribute food and supplies or clear damaged properties.

When: Saturday, October 8

First Shift 9a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Second Shift 12:30 – 4.p.m.

Third Shift 4 – 7p.m.

Where: Bastrop Volunteer Reception Center

Sign up as a group or an individual by contacting Dahlia Anzaldua-Torres, 223.7595 or [email protected]. You will receive a free t-shirt and additional information.

  • Please designate which shift(s) you wish to work
  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. For safety sake, no kids allowed
  • You’ll need to provide your own transportation
  • Safety and work gear will be provided to those removing debris
