ACC Study Abroad Application Deadline Extended to Jan. 30

Austin Community College students may submit applications for all summer 2012 Study Abroad programs through an extended deadline, Monday, January 30.

“There is no better way to expand your awareness of the world than to live, study, and experience another country and culture firsthand,” says International Programs Coordinator William Hayden. “Studying abroad gives students a great opportunity for personal growth, and ACC makes doing so affordable and accessible.”

Applications for Board of Trustees’ Study Abroad Scholarships will also be accepted through the new January 30 deadline.

ACC Study Abroad programs run the first session of the summer semester. Programs are typically five to six weeks, beginning with intensive course work in Austin and then moving to the program’s country for an immersed cultural and academic experience.
