Know a great professor? The deadline for nominations for the 2012 Teaching Excellence Awards is approaching.
Each year ACC’s Teaching Excellence Awards honor faculty members whose knowledge, commitment, and teaching philosophy make them stand out. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate full-time or adjunct faculty members who promote special learning opportunities, student interaction, and innovation. Recipients are honored at commencement and receive a $1,000 cash award.
The deadline for nominations is April 1. For more information or to access a nomination form, click here. Nominations can be submitted online or in the campus manager’s office for each campus.

The link to the nomination form appears to be broken… When I click the link, I just get a message that says “Sorry, the page your requested could not be found, or no longer exists.”

I take issue with the fact that this post felt the need to separate the two types of faculty.

My favorite instructor is Nanette Tisdale. She is inspiring. I was struggling thur Pharmacology. I could not get the math down for the dosage tests. She works with me. She showed me what mistakes I was making. She goes above and beyond for her students. I am honored to know Nanette. She is an asset to ACC!!!!

Anna DesOrmeaux!
Is one of the best teachers I’ve had at any ACC location. She is a really sweet person and a very knowledgeable and entertaining Art History Professor. I’ve already nominated her but I just wanted to share this w/ everyone else. Ms. DesOrmeaux deserves the recognition!
