CSPS Hosts "Revolution and the Media" for Students and Student Groups

ACC’s Center for Student Political Studies (CSPS) invites students and student organizations to attend “Revolution and the Media,” a forum hosted that will address organizing activism and affecting change through new media and technology. The event will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at ACC’s Rio Grande Campus (1212 Rio Grande St., in the student lounge).

Prominent Syrian social media activist Mouna Hashem and student activist Jonathan Cronin will share their views of new media’s role in extending an activist’s voice.

“At CSPS, we believe that students, when equipped with tools and knowledge, can create change in our community,” says Raymond Weyandt, president of CSPS.
