Austin Community College recently partnered with Gallaudet University Regional Center (GURC) Southwest at ACC and the Texas School for the Deaf to host the region’s first “ASLFest.” The three-day festival featured performances by Deaf artists as well as workshops for Deaf residents and the community.

“This festival was a great opportunity to provide information, resources, and entertainment for the Deaf and hard of hearing population as well as for the community at large,” says Arlene Gunderson, director of the Gallaudet University Regional Center Southwest. “We look forward to continuing the tradition in the future.”
