A small Chinese delegation will visit Austin Community College’s South Austin Campus on Thursday, August 22, to learn about ACC’s English as a Second Language (ESOL) program.

During their visit, the group will meet with ESOL instructors to learn more about ACC’s ESOL curriculum as well as the materials and technology used in instruction.

The delegation is from Xishuangbanna Prefecture, located in Yunnan Provience, China. The group is made up of the deputy director of education, a faculty member, and four teenage ESOL students. The group arrived in Austin on August 15, and ACC will be their last stop before heading home.
