ACC Study Abroad Programs Accepting Applications for Summer 2013

Applications are now being accepted for ACC’s summer 2013 Study Abroad programs.

ACC Study Abroad programs run the first session of the summer semester. Programs typically last five to six weeks, beginning with intensive course work in Austin before traveling to the program’s country for an immersed cultural and academic experience.

“ACC International Programs offer students the opportunity to travel, learn, and have the experience of the lifetime, all while earning ACC credit,” says William Hayden, International Programs coordinator. “Our study abroad programs combine both affordability and quality, making it an excellent value.”

Applications are due March 1, 2013. Summer 2013 study abroad programs are:

Argentina – Spanish II & Conversation
Barbados – Sustainable Tourism & Recreational Services
Costa Rica – Spanish III & Conversation
England – Theatre & Acting I
Germany – Film History & Film Appreciation
Ireland – Creative Writing & Intro to Comparative Religion
Italy – Art History
Italy – Drawing
Italy – Pastry Arts
Jordan – Arabic II
Peru – Anthropology
Spain – Spanish IV & Conversation
Spain – World Literature & Intro to Comparative Religion
Spain – Intro to Speech & Business Communication

Students interested in applying to an ACC study abroad program must first complete an advising appointment with the International Programs Office; click here to make an appointment. Advisors will be holding appointments until March 1, 2013.
