First Group of ACC Transfer Students Benefit from Southwestern University Partnership

This spring, four ACC transfer students are the first to take advantage of a new partnership between the college and Southwestern University

A $450,000 grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation enables Southwestern to enroll ACC transfer students every year for the next three years. Each group, or “cohort,” will be supported by a strong network of services to help them complete college and earn a bachelor’s degree.

Four ACC students enrolled at Southwestern this spring, and 12 more are expected to start in the fall. Read more about the current students and the partnership between the schools on Southwestern’s website.
