I am recently a GED achiever from Austin Community College. My future goal is to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician and work for a corporation where I can share my trained knowledge and experience. My request is to be part of the ACC Job Training Program.

I’m just kind of “spitballing” here, but it looks like one of the folks listed at this URL might be able to get you started.

After 9 years of not working, I am coming back to the job market.
I used to work as an Accounts Payable clerk.
When I went for a job interview two weeks ago, the recruiter said, it will be hard for me to get hired because I am not current with the Accounting Clerk’s experience. I am a quick learner. So where can I get the current training?
I know Quickbooks and Excel by experience, but do not have certificates to attached with my job application.
Where can I get these certificates? Do I need to attend classes again? Or just take the test to get certified? Need help and advise.
Thank you.
