A message from Human Resources:

A systems error by Caremark caused some ACC employees’ prescription drug coverage to be erroneously cancelled over the weekend (Feb. 23 & 24).

While the issue is impacting several state agency and higher education employees, not all Caremark participants are affected.

Caremark, the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS), and ACC’s HR Department are aware of the problem. Caremark is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If a Caremark pharmacy was unable to fill a prescription for you or your dependents this weekend, please ask the pharmacy to reprocess the claim after 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25.

If you are unsure whether you were affected, the matter should be resolved by the end of Monday, Feb. 25.
