NUA Chief to Discuss Expectations and Student Achievement

Dr. Eric Cooper, president and founder of the National Urban Alliance for Effective Education (NUA), will discuss “The Role of Belief, Hope, Determination & Confidence In Student Achievement” as part of a spring faculty development speaker series. Cooper will speak at the Rio Grande Campus from 10-11:30 a.m., Friday, April 19, in Room 201.

Cooper has worked extensively to support and improve education for urban and minority students. Read about Cooper’s work and background.
