ACC Hosts 30 Danish College Students

Thirty Danish college students are spending four weeks taking classes at ACC.

A group of 30 Danish college students is spending four weeks at ACC and experiencing everything Texas has to offer.

The students, who will be at ACC through the end of October, are studying Texas literature and history as well as game development at Northridge Campus. They also gave a presentation at the Student Life Leadership and Diversity Conference on Denmark’s education system and their way of life.

Outside of the classroom, the group has explored Austin and nearby attractions, including the Alamo, Johnson Space Center, and the Galveston harbor.

The students are visiting from Denmark’s Odense Tekniske Gymnasium. They are all in their final year of secondary education, and their time spent at ACC will count toward their curriculum back home.

Another group of Danish students and faculty, from Aarhus Business College, will visit ACC in November.
