ACC’s Human Resources department will visit campuses Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 to present information and answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and benefits eligibility requirements for adjunct faculty as defined by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS). See a schedule of sessions below:

The HR department plans to schedule additional sessions; dates and times will be posted when they are available.
According to the Affordable Care Act, employers must offer health benefits coverage to employees working an average of 30 or more hours per week. To be eligible, an ACC employee must have worked 30 hours per week or more for the fall 2013 and spring 2014 semesters.
